EgyptAir and Singapore Airlines have expanded their codeshare agreement to include EgyptAir’s destinations of Luxor and Sharm el-Sheikh as well as Singapore’s services to Bangkok, Sydney and Melbourne.

Singapore Airlines will increase frequency to Cairo, Egypt from Singapore to 4x per week. Flights are operated via Dubai, UAE.

Singapore Airlines’ cargo arm SIA Cargo commenced service to Nairobi, Kenya on March 28 using B744F aircraft. The airline will serve the airport on an Singapore - Johannesburg - Nairobi - Brussels - Johannesburg - Singapore routing operated on Sundays.

Singapore Airlines will fly nonstop to Cairo, Egypt as of the end of March, improving its current service that makes a stop in Dubai. Flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays using B772 aircraft.

South African Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines which will allow it to place its code on Singapore’s flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town. Singaport in turn will place its code on SAA flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and East London

Singapore Airlines will operate all three weekly flights between Singapore and Cape Town, South Africa nonstop effective the second week in February. Currently, only one flight is operated nonstop, while the other two are served along with Johannesburg.
