SAA and MAS in codeshare agreement

South African Airways and Malaysia Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement which will see, pending government approval, each airline placing its code on domestic and regional flights operated by the other. The deal, which is set to take effect on June 1, will see South African’s code on Malaysia’s flights between Johannesburg and Kuala Lumpur, as well as domestic Malaysian and regional cities. Malaysian will also place its code on certain SA domestic and regional flights.

Malaysia Airlines pulls out of Cairo

Malaysia Airlines has announced its decision to pull out of Cairo on November 1. The route is currently operated twice per week.

Kenya Airways and Malaysia Airlines in codeshare talks

According to news reports, Kenya Airways and Malaysia Airlines are in codeshare talks which is expected to be implemented before the year ends. Kenya Airways already codeshares with Korean Air on the Bangkok-Seoul route.
