Kenya Airways has leased a B763 from ILFC for 18 months.

Nigerian Eagle has signed interline and code share agreements with Kenya Airways. Details of the code share deal have not been announced.

According to posted schedules, Kenya Airways will begin new service to Bangui, Central African Republic on October 22. Flights will operate 2x per week as part of a triangle route that includes Douala.

Kenya Airways is reportedly in negotiations with Airbus for the acquisition of between six and nine aircraft as it looks to meet its fleet growth requirements amid delays in the delivery of 787s.

Air Botswana will place its code on Kenya Airways’ newly announced service between Gaborone and Nairobi.

Kenya Airways will begin service to Gaborone, Botswana on September 4. Flights will operate 3x per week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with the return leg having a stop at Harare, Zimbabwe.

Kenya Airways will reportedly announce new service to Gaborone, Botswana shortly. Flights are expected to operate 3x per week.

According to posted schedules, Kenya Airways will begin service between Nairobi, Kenya and Kisangani, DRC in July. Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays using B733 aircraft.

Kenya Airways has reportedly submitted an application to authorities in Bangladesh for new service to Dakha, Bangladesh via Dubai, UAE.

Kenya Airways received its fourth B738 earlier this week on lease from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC).

The upcoming summer schedule will see the following changes at Kenya Airways:
- Addis Ababa increased from 5x to 7x per week, with one flight each added to the day and evening schedules. The day time flights continue on to Djibouti.
- Bujumbura increased from daily to twice daily
- Kigali increased from twice daily to 3x per day
- Antananarivo increased from 3x to 4x per week
- Dakar increased from 3x to 5x per week with the introduction of two night flights via Accra (the latter will see an frequency increase to 9x per week)
- Freetown increased from 4x to 5x per week
- Monrovia increased from 3x to 5x per week
- Lagos increased from 11x per week to twice daily
- Yaounde increased from 4x per week to 5x per week
- Bangkok increased from 6x per week to daily
- Paris increased from 3x per week to 4x per week

Kenya Airways will increase frequency to Bangkok, Thailand and Hong Kong to daily and 5x per week respectively beginning the end of October.

Kenya Airways will operate three of its six weekly flights to Guangzhou nonstop from Nairobi beginning at the end of October. The remaining flights will operate via Bangkok.

Kenya Airways will resume services to Paris, France in June. Flights were disrupted in December because of a drop in passengers related to political unrest in Kenya.

Kenya Airways will begin services to Antananarivo, Madagascar from Nairobi on November 1. Flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Kenya Airways will from next week suspend its 3x per week service to Paris, France citing a deep decline in bookings related to recent unrest in Kenya.

According to posted schedules, Kenya Airways’ summer operations (beginning July) will see the following changes:
- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: 6x per week, up from the current four. The additional flights will leave Nairobi in the evening, operated by E170s
- Lagos, Nigeria: daily from the current five weekly (two leave Nairobi in the morning, the rest in the evening)
- Accra, Ghana: daily from the current six weekly
- Dubai, UAE: 2x daily from the current 11 weekly
- Bangkok, Thailand: 6x per week from the current three.
- Guangzhou, China: 5x per week, from the current four
- Hong Kong: 4x per week from the current three

Kenya Airways and China Southern Airlines, both affiliated with Skyteam, will cooperate on services between Nairobi, Kenya and Guangzhou, China and beyond their respective hubs.

Kenya Airways, which currently serves Guangzhou 4x per week, plans to increase its frequency to daily by April 2008 (via Dubai or a third country), and operate the route nonstop as of 2010.
