Etihad to increase service to African destinations
With its upcoming summer schedule, Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will increase service to its African destinations as follows:
- Cairo will be served 10x per week, up from the current daily service. The new flights will be operated overnight
- Khartoum will be served 4x per week, up from the current three
- Johannesburg will be served daily, up from the current 2x per week
Etihad Crystal Cargo adds Addis Ababa to network
Etihad Airways’ cargo arm, Etihad Crystal Cargo, is adding Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to its growing network of destinations as of July 28. Addis will be served once per week on Fridays, and will be combined with one of 6 weekly all-cargo rotations from Abu Dhabi to Khartoum. Flights from Addis Ababa are expected to grow to 3x per week by the fall of 2006.
Etihad Airways to serve Khartoum
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways is set to begin services between its base and Khartoum, Sudan effective July 5. Flights will be operated using A330 aircraft 3x times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays

Etihad to serve Casablanca
Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi UAE, will start services to Casablanca, Morocco on July 1. Flights will be operated nonstop 4x per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi’s home grown airline, is to start two times per week services between its hub and Johannesburg from December 3. Flights will be operated with an A343
