A 49% stake in Air Malawi was sold to South Africa’s Comair, which was chosen as a strategic partner by the government of Malawi.

South Africa-based Comair has submitted its application with authorities to commence services to London UK. The airline, which currently provides regional South African service under the British Airways and kulula.com brands, is also looking for widebody aircraft that would allow it to serve the route.
