Air Mauritius will inaugurate weekly service to Bangalore, India on April 28. The flight will operate on Mondays using A332 aircraft.

Air Mauritius in a sale-leaseback deal for its B762s
Air Mauritius has sold and leased back its two B762s in a deal signed with a US-based consortium Marathon Assets Finance, Compass Capital and GA Telefis, signaling the begining of the end for the aircraft in its fleet. The aircraft will remain with the airline until February, by which time its A343s would be delievered, and the airline would have an all-Airbus jet fleet.
Air Mauritius to increase Mumbai service
Begining April, Air Mauritius will increase its current 4x per week service between the island of Mauritius and Mumbai, India to 6x per week. The current flights, operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will be augmented with flights on Mondays and Saturdays. All flights will be operated using a B762.
Air Mauritius to replace Boeing long haul fleet
Air Mauritius has announced a decision to purchase three Airbus A340-300Es to replace its aging long haul fleet of Boeing B767-200s. Delivery is set to start in October 2006.
