TAAG goes with Boeing, and restarts services

TAAG has reportedly placed an order for a mix of Boeing B737s and B777s for delivery starting next year. The airline currently operates two B743-combis and five B732s.

The airline also resumed service to Lusaka on May 20. Flights will be operated once per week with a B732.

Edit: The order for new aircraft was announced today as being 2 772ERs and 2 73GQCs, with the latter being quick-change from pax to cargo configuration. Delivery will begin in July 2006, with all aircraft delivered by the end of that year.
